For the past two years, the GCSC Sports Awards has set new records raising money at their Gala event at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. The Sports Awards is set for Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 with ESPN College Football Analyst Kirk Herbstreit as the host of the event.
The mission of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission is to measurably enhance the economy, image and quality of life in the Greater Cleveland community by attracting and creating significant sporting events and activities. Since 2000, the Sports Commission has been responsible for attracting over ninety sporting events, contributing nearly $300 million in economic impact.
