What a night for the Dad's Club of Western Reserve Academy of Hudson, Ohio. The school's gymnasium was packed with parents attended parents weekend for the annual Giant Family Party sponsored by the Dad's Club.
This is an event that has potential to bring in large bids and donations but it never seemed to cash in on the opportunity. The Dad's Club contracted Mark Schroeder BAS of Auction brio six months prior to the event in order to enhance its opportunities to raise more money. By applying Auction brio services for the first time, the Dad's Club discovered on Friday night what it had been missing for years. On the second live auction item, I sold the naming rights to the street in front of the school for $35,000 dollars! In one item, I helped the Dads Club raise more money than it made in total for last years event!! With 25 more items to go in the live auction, needless to say the Dad's Club auction was a HUGE fundraising success!
